I went through the 7th thinking it was 8th, I guess.

For the record, this rabbit looked much better before I retraced the outline. oh well. Fair warning, I might iron the paper out, and re-scan, and re-post a slightly improved picture--because I'm displeased by the watercolor puckerwaves in the paper. Happy Thursday.

Here's a picture of the twin robot smokestacks I saw on my ride home with kelly today. I wish I could make the eyes glow and blink asynchronously (is that a real word?), for you, like they do in real life.

this started out as just making myself do a drawing. 2008-resolve. then I looked at it, and it seemed like it had become amber flint. It's been so long since I've seen her. I can't even remember if amber really wears glasses. is that in my imagination? partly it probably seemed like a.f. because I'd just been talking about her with a friend and we were saying how we missed her. partly it's probably just because I decided to start painting the drawing's hair blond, and her hair is. and partly it's probably because of her little long bird neck. I miss amber. also I miss that big state with the big sky. and the people who live there. 2008. I see maine again. resolved.

busy.
went to wdc. saw friends. saw movie.
movie was funny. the movie was called superbad.
I laughed at things I wouldn't have felt okay laughing about when I was in college.
funny, right?
I'm still processing that.
by the end of the movie it was ready to be done.

I had popcorn at the movie. + salt.
but rats didn't serve it.
THAT would be a novelty theater.

the ghost remainder's coming.
plugging in the scanner takes energy. and every day has an allotted amount of energy.
for now the ghosts fly free.
I don't know what happens here after all the ghost show up.

Those paying attention might have noticed a lapse in the ghosts... I just haven't felt like drawing. that's sad.

Anyway, it's long enough a lapse that I'm not even going to fake the dates. but I do want to do 30 good ghosts. so it will be 30 ghosts in however many days. then we'll all take a rest and get back to it.

Here, for now, is ghost 14...he was actually done quite a while ago. hi little ghost.
